Dear Guests!

Welcome to the Hotel Historia Malomkert, the newest boutique hotel in Veszprém. The building got its new form during the renovation of the hundreds of years old Kopácsy mill, in the summer 2012. During the shaping of the hotel we have simultaneously used the clear forms of the minimalist style and we have kept in mind the preservation of monument values. The hotel is surrounded by thousands of square meters of green park and offers a wonderful panorama of Veszprém Castle. Enjoy beauty and harmony in the Hotel Historia Malomkert!

In our hotel policy you will find all the information that may be useful during your stay here. To ensure that your stay is undisturbed, please adhere to the hotel’s policies. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact our receptionist colleagues, who are at your disposal!

Information on rooms and booking

The room prices of our hotel are set in HUF, our prices include VAT, the tourist tax has to be paid separately.

Check in is from 14.00, check out is until 10.00. You can ask early check in/ late check out for a fee. The late check out is free until 12:00 a.m., Early check-in and late check-out is always based on our capacity. We reserve the right to refuse any of it.

In the hotel room flammable, explosive materials stored must not be operated.

You may not store or use any flammable or explosive materials, coffee machines, water heaters, irons or any other electrical appliances in your room.

Display the „Do Not Disturb” sign on your door if you do not wish your rest to be disturbed by our housekeeping staff. Report any fault detected in your room to the reception.

Information of catering

The half-board restaurant service, which includes a rich breakfast buffet and dinner, begins with dinner on the day of arrival and ends with breakfast on the day of departure. In case of late arrival (after 21.00) we will provide the opportunity to eat the previous day’s dinner as lunch the next day between 11.00 and 15.00.

Other useful information

It is prohibited to remove any equipment or textiles from the hotel! Anyone causing damage deliberately or negligently will be asked to provide compensation. You are requested to respect other guests and to keep the noise to a minimum after 10.00 p.m. According to Hungarian legislation, smoking in the rooms, restaurant and public areas of the hotel is prohibited outside the designated smoking area!

Adapter for international use:
You can ask for an adapter on our reception. 

Air conditioning:
The equipment only functioning with closed windows. You can find the panel on the wall, where you can control the temperature. In winter the recommended heating temperature is 20 – 25 C °, in summer the recommended cooling temperature is 22 – 26 C °. These temperature ranges provide a pleasant feeling of comfort. In case of setting difficulties, please contact the reception!

ATM automat:
The nearest one can be found in the downtown. You can ask for a map at the reception from our helpful staff.

Attractions and programs:
Information brochures and program booklets can be found on the reception desk and in the lobby area, our reception colleagues are gladly to provide information.

Baby equipment:
Our colleague is ready to take the requested equipment to your room, e.g. baby bed, baby bathtub and toilet restrictor. In your room you can also find shower gel, soap and body lotion, especially for your child/children. 

Billing:
The room can be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival. In order to reduce the time required to check out, please indicate your billing request at check-in (what name you are asked to issue, how you wish to pay the bill, etc.). After check-in, we will give our guests a key card to open the room. In case of arrival before 14:00 or check-out after 10:00, we are able to authorize, depending on the hotel’s occupancy, at an additional cost.

Camera system:
For the safety of our guests, there is a camera surveillance system in the public areas of our building, as well as in the car parks and the terrace of the restaurant.

Check in / Check out:
Check in is from 14.00, check out is until 10.00.
You can ask early check in / late check out for a fee, based on availability.
When checking out, please leave your room until 10.00, and give your card to the receptionist.

Cleaning:
Rooms are cleaned daily. Our housemaids do the cleaning between 08:00 am and 13:30 pm. Please indicate your need for cleaning to the maid with a sign on the door handle. You can find a card hanging on the rack. On one side you will find a “I am asking for cleaning” sign and on the other side of the card a “Please do not disturb” part. There is an extra cleaning fee if there is dirt on the furniture, carpet, fabrics and curtains of the room that cannot be cleaned with normal cleaning supplies. Bed linen is changed daily on request. If you have such a request, please contact the reception. Detailed information on changing towels can be found in the bathroom.

Cold pack:
In case of check out before 7 o’clock, based on your previous day’s order, we will provide a cold package instead of breakfast. Please indicate your request at the reception the day before departure no later than 20:00!

Complaints:
If you have any remark, complaints, please let us know as soon as possible, because after the check-out we are unable to accept them.

Conference:
For conferences and events we can provide a modern, state-of-the-art conference room for our partners. For further information please ask our receptionist.

Cosmetic products:
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving sets, shower caps and nail files are available at reception for an extra charge. The shower gels in the rooms can also be used as shampoos. According to the needs of our guests, for a fee, we replace these and the body lotion as well.

Cushions:
You can choose from different linings at the reception. 

Damage:
Damage caused to the room or the hotel during your stay will be borne by you. The hotel is entitled to charge you for the repair and replacement costs. 

„Do not disturb”:
Please place “Please do not disturb” on the outside of your door if you wish not to be disturbed. If you either wish not to receive phone calls, please call the reception!

Door lock:
The door of our hotel rooms is equipped with a proximity card lock. The door can only be opened with a card: when you approach the card by touching it, the green light on the switch flashes for a few seconds, then the door can be opened. From the inside, the door can be opened at any time with the handle. If you are in the room, place the card into the card holder, which can be found next to the door to ensure that the room is supplied with electricity. To close the door, please do not push down on the handle but pull it in with a stronger motion. Please take your card with you when leaving the room and check that the room door is properly closed.

Electric network:
In Hungary the electric network is 220 – 240 V / 50 Hz

Emergency exit:
The closest emergency exit for you can be found on the emergency escape plan hanging around your door.

Left luggage service and transportation:
You can leave your luggage in a room next to the reception. Our colleagues are at your disposal by bringing your luggage out of your room.

Lost and found:
Found items left in the hotel room or in the building in general are stored for 6 months. We can mail them within this time upon request, after paying the postage in advance. If you have provided your telephone number on the application form, we will also be able to notify you by telephone of a forgotten item in the room.

Massage:
Contact our reception staff for an appointment.

Minibar:
Each room has a variety of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. Only products prepared by us can be kept in the minibar. Your stock will be replenished daily, the replenished quantities will be added to the prepared list and debited to the room bill. When traveling, please bring a list of your last consumption to reception. Thank you for your efforts! Please note that the hotel reserves the right to charge the amount of minibar items consumed by the guest but not declared.

Payment method:
Cash (HUF, EUR) and Credit cards ARE ALSO ACCEPTED FOR THE SETTLEMENT OF THE BILLS. The following credit cards may be used: Visa, Eurocard-Mastercard, and Amex.

Parking:
Guests arriving by car may leave their cars in our car park which is observed by cameras. Parking is free of charge, based on free capacity. 

Pets:
Our hotel and restaurant are pet-friendly, your pets can enjoy the stay with you together. The service is available at an additional cost. Please keep the leash on your dog, cat in order to ensure the calmness of the other guests. Also please note our “pet etiquette” placed in your room. Thank you for your cooperation!

Preservation of values:
You can keep your values free in the safe which can be found in your room and also in the reception. We do not take responsibility for those values of yours that are not kept in the safe. To set up the safe, after you located your values, close the door of the safe and give a minimum 4 character long code, then push button #. When you want to open the safe, use the same code that you gave when you closed the safe then press button #. If you have any problem, call the reception!

Reception:
Our Reception is 6.00-22.00 open. After 22.00 pm, please call the specified phone numbers placed on the reception. Contact us at any time!

Restaurant:
Our restaurant welcomes guests with wonderful composed dishes and excellent wines. You can consume your breakfast between 7.00 a.m.-10.00 a.m. in our restaurant. Please order your warm breakfast from our waiter colleagues, which is served you freshly in a few minutes.

Malomkert Beer house is open:
Monday –Sunday from 12.00 noon till 22.00 p.m.
We can accept your food order every day until 21:00, our kitchen is open until 22:00. If you want to book a table, call the restaurant (144) or the reception (9).

Half board can be resorted to also as lunch and dinner, please contact the reception about your choice. Half board can be resorted as cold meal, as well. If you want to choose cold meal as a half pension, please let our receptionist colleague know one day earlier.

Room service:
The ordered food can be served in the room between 11:00 and 21:00, occasionally for a service fee of HUF 1,000. Ask for our menu from our reception or serving colleagues. (From the room telephone extension 9 – reception, 144 – restaurant).

Safety precautions:
In the interests of your own safety, please study the escape route plans hanging on the back of your room door. In case of fire or other emergency, please use the emergency exit indicated. If you find a fire anywhere, please inform the reception desk immediately. For the sake of fire and accident prevention, we request that apart from razors and hair driers, you do not use your own electronic appliances in your room.

Self check-out:
You can pay your bill by check-in or during your whole stay. In this case your departure can be faster and smoother. Please always hand over your door opener card to our receptionist.

Shoe-cleaning:
It is possible to clean your shoes with the machine located at the reception.

Smoking:
Smoking is forbidden in our rooms and in the restaurant, but it is allowed in the garden of the Hotel and the terrace of the restaurant. In case of smoking in the room or in the building, 20,000 HUF will be charged for the cleaning costs of the curtains and textiles. With regard to the comfort of other guests, please only smoke in the areas designated for this purpose.

Souvenir:
It is possible to buy homemade jams and beers in our hotel. Please contact our receptionist in this regard.

If you want to order a taxi, please contact our reception!

Textiles:
Help us to protect our environment and place your towels on the bathroom floor if you wish to change them. Bed linens are changed every third night. If prompted, we can replace every day, please inform the reception.

Visitors:
We kindly ask our guests to welcome their guests in the public areas of the hotel. Guests can only enter the hotel room after check-in at reception and can not stay in the room after 20:00. In case of violation, the reception will charge the accommodation fee according to the current price list.

Wakening up:
Our colleagues at the reception are ready to call you in the morning at the specified time.

Free services:
Luggage storage, safe, WIFI, parking, children’s playground, play corner

Upon request, we can bring it into the room free of charge:
Cot, baby bath, blanket, plus pillows, extra blanket

Our services are available for a fee:
Transfer, flower ordering, ticket ordering (cinema, theater, zoo tickets, concerts, other), bicycle rental, ironing / laundry, luggage delivery, toiletries.
